Nick fell in love with the beauty industry while working with Greg Decker to open the original Azur Salon. A graduate from the University of Houston, Nick has a professional background in fundraising, event planning, marketing and public relations. Nick helped from the sidelines with Azur Salon while working as the Vice President of Corporate Relations for the American Heart Association. He loved watching how the stylists could change a client, both inside and out, and wanted in on the action.  He left his career to join Azur Salons full-time in 2007 as the business manager overseeing accounting, marketing and human resources.
